Freshfields advises on Strabag’s refinancing
Global law firm Freshfields has advised Deutsche Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International on the refinancing of key financing instruments for Strabag SE.
Deutsche Bank acted as documentation agent in connection with the refinancing of its existing guarantee facility by means of a EUR 2.5bn guarantee facility. Raiffeisen Bank International took the role of documentation agent on the refinancing of its existing syndicated revolving credit facility through a new EUR 500m revolving credit facility. In addition to acting as documentation agents, Deutsche Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International also acted as coordinators for both financings
The transaction supports Strabag SE in optimising its financing structure and securing long-term financial flexibility.
